Hoje vamos não falar de Crochet?
Como sabem todos os seguidores deste humilde blog, aqui mostra-se com mais imagens do que palavras, projectos e designs em crochet, tricot e outras técnicas manuais aplicadas em peças feitas à mão com a marca Bo-M.
Entretanto, sendo a Bo-M uma marca Portuguesa (com certeza!! 🇵🇹 ) a verdade é que há cerca de ano e meio e por mais outro tanto, estamos fisicamente no estrangeiro por motivos profissionais do meu amantíssimo marido, motivos esses que nos proporcionam o privilégio sem paralelo de viver esta experiência completa e absolutamente fantástica que é a de viver noutro país (de que ainda por cima sempre gostámos imenso) e de ver como é que afinal “eles fazem as coisas lá fora”.
A primeira coisa a dizer sobre esta experiência comparativa, é que nós, no nosso rico pequeno Grande Portugal (que hoje tem o seu Dia assinalado!), fizemos, continuamos a fazer e prosseguiremos fazendo muita coisa e muito bem!
Se já me considerava patriota ferrenha, agora ainda sinto um orgulho acrescido por ter tido a sorte de nascer na ocidental praia lusitana (obrigada querido Camões, por ter dito tudo tão bem e parabéns a si que hoje é o seu dia! ).
Por estar noutro país fica-se, como é claro, fisicamente longe de amigos, família, vizinhos e conhecidos, meninas do supermercado e senhoras da mercearia, senhor do café, ou colegas de trabalho.
Fica-se, é verdade, mas esse distanciamento não acontece se considerarmos tudo o que hoje em dia nos permite ultrapassar a nossa presença física.
Assim sendo, para pôr o “dedo no ar” e encurtar as lonjuras, fica aqui a promessa:
De agora em diante e começando neste ano de 2020 tão estranho como desafiante, em que a marca Bo-M vai comemorar 10 anos ( 🎉 🎊 ⭐️ 🤩 !!!), vamos aqui introduzir vários outros temas conforme a telha com que estivermos, sempre é claro sem esquecer os designs Bo-M a que já vos habituámos claro!!
Irão ser visitadas várias áreas, desde receitas; fotografias de sítios giros; dicas; curiosidades, música, filmes, séries, artistas, viagens, marcas de que gosto, estilos, arquitectura e, no fim de contas, tudo o que a nós nos dá gozo ver ou fazer.
Assim sendo e até ao próximo post, fiquem bem!
Today let’s NOT going to talk about Crochet! How about that?
As all followers of this humble blog know, here it´s shown with not to many words, projects and designs in crochet, knitting and other manual techniques applied to hand-made pieces for the Bo-M brand.
However, being Bo-M a Portuguese brand (for sure !! 🇵🇹) the truth is that, for about a year and a half and for some year and a half more, we are physically abroad from Portugal, because of my loving husband’s professional reasons. This circumstances - it must be said - gives us the unparalleled privilege of having this complete and absolutely fantastic experience that is to live in another country (which we, by the way, have always loved dearly) and to see how, after all, “they do things out there”.
The first thing to say about this comparative experience is that, in our much loved little Great Portugal, (and today we celebrate its Day!), we did and continue to do a lot of things pretty well!And if I already considered myself a fierce patriot, now I feel an added pride for having been lucky enough to be born on the “Ocidental praia Lusitana" (thank you dear Camões, for having said everything so well and congratulations to you for today is your day too!).
Being in another country one is, of course, physically away from friends, family, neighbors and acquaintances, girls from the supermarket and ladies from the grocery store, coffee shop owner, or coworkers.
We are physically away, it’s true, but this distance does not happen if we consider everything that today allows us to go beyond our physical presence.
So, and to put our “finger up” and shorten the distance, here is a bit of a promise:
From now on and in this as strange as challenging year of 2020, in which Bo-M brand will celebrate with claps and fanfarre 10 years old (🎉 🎊 ⭐️ 🤩 !!!), we will introduce in this “blog-kind-of-home” everything we want basically, not forgetting of course all of our designs!
The most diverse themes, being recipes; photographs of cute sites and nice places; tips; curiosities, music, films, series, artists; paintings; travel, brands we like; trends and, in short, everything that makes us feel happy and positive will deserve our thoughts and words.
Do not expect profound considerations about this or that, nor positions taken on “fracturing” themes, or other statements of that kind that we make when it proves to be pertinent in a proper environment 🧐 👩🏼🎓. No, here we’ll be plain and simple for we are just going to explore the lighter and more positive side of everything. Dear Monty Python gang - you’ve put it so well when you remembered all of us that we should “always look at the bright side of life” ☀️🌈.
Indeed the idea is to spread as much as we will be able, the joy that the most diverse themes bring to us and that hopefully - who knows - may also give you that same good vibe.
